The Entrepreneurship Club
University of Oregon Entrepreneurship Club is sponsored through the Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship and is open to all University of Oregon undergraduate students. Our mission is to empower young entrepreneurs by offering organized events, providing insight from experienced entrepreneurs in the community, and encouraging participation in student ventures. The club hosts an array of great guest speakers including business owners, angel investors, and other knowledgeable business professionals.
The club also makes various site visits including past trips to a Portland Trailblazers game, King Estate Winery, Pizza Research Institute, and various venture conferences. We have one meeting each term where students put what they have learned from their classes and the club to practice. These are called “Bring Your Own Business” competitions where members present a 2-minute business pitch to the club and receive constructive feedback about their business ideas. We also plan to hold a few big events this year, specifically Dave from Dave’s Killer Bread in winter term.
This club welcomes business and non-business majors, as entrepreneurship can be helpful in any profession.
