Events
Career Services also brings to campus a variety of employers who are eager
to share advice with LCB students. The following list of annual presentations
will give you an idea of what you can learn from these professionals.
Life After LCB (fall) - Business leaders share insights about career
planning and making the most of your college experience.
Employers Tell All (varies) - Employers discuss career related topics
such as Networking Do's and Don'ts, Managing First Impressions, and the Recruiters'
Insider Perspective on Hiring.
Career Business Symposium (spring) - Panelists discuss their career
paths and share information to help you with choosing a business concentration
and career. Four panels are offered: accounting, finance, marketing, and operations/
information systems.
Employer Information Sessions (fall, winter and spring) - Employers
traveling to campus to interview students often schedule information sessions.
They are open to everyone. It's a great way to learn about an industry, an
organization, and its current job and internship opportunities.
LCB Career Services is offering a new avenue for career exploration to its
undergraduates! Look for one to two site visits per term with regional
companies. (fall, winter, spring)
