Biography
Jon Reuter is an assistant professor of finance currently on leave at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. Prior to joining the UO faculty in 2003, Professor Reuter was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Entrepreneurship Center. His current research focuses on the outsourcing of portfolio management in the U.S. mutual fund industry (a practice know as subadvising) and on the determinants of individual retirement behavior. His research has been published in the Journal of Finance and the Quarterly Journal of Economics.
