US News & World Report

The Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship at the Charles H. Lundquist College of Business is the 16th best such center in the nation, according to the recently released U.S.News & World Report's Best Colleges 2004 rankings. The elite position was earned in the entrepreneurship undergraduate business specialty category and is based on opinions of deans and senior faculty in programs across the country accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Business Week

In the March 15, 2004 issue of Business Week, the New Venture Championship international business plan competition was recognized as one of the top 3 university based business plan competitions in the nation.

Entrepreneur Magazine

Lists the Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship Among Best in Nation

In 2003, 2004, and 2005 the Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship was identified as a top tier entrepreneurship center in a survey initiated by Entrepreneur Magazine. One of only 13 schools listed as a top regional program, the LCE was additionally voted #1 in Alumni Satisfaction and #2 in peer school recognition in 2003 and #2 in program directors and faculty recognition in 2004. There are currently over 800 entrepreneurship centers and programs in the nation.

National Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers

The Lundquist center for Entrepreneurship is affiliated with the National Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers founded in 1997 through the support of the Kauffman Foundation Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership. Each year a conference is held that brings together the best entrepreneurship centers in the United States. These conferences have lead to greater collaboration among the directors of Entrepreneurship Centers to enhance and foster improvements in curriculum, research, outreach, projects, and financial support for entrepreneurship.

United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE)

The mission of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship is to advance knowledge and foster business development through entrepreneurship education and research.

USASBE is interdisciplinary, cross-functional and globally connected (as an affiliate of the International Council for Small Business).

USASBE is the premier network for entrepreneurship educators at all student levels, for professional practitioners, for entrepreneurship researchers, and for government policy makers.

USASBE offers cutting-edge programs for entrepreneurship education and encourages research that has practical application.

The Lundquist Center was the winner of the 1998 USASBE award for Innovative Programs at the MBA level. In 2004, the LCE's Technology and Entrepreneurship Program was runner-up for the USASBE Outstanding Specialty Entrepreneurship Program Award. LCE faculty and staff regularly attend and participate in USASBE conferences and activities.

The United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE) presented the University of Oregon's Charles H. Lundquist College of Business with the award for the 1997 National Model Entrepreneurship Program at the M.B.A. Level.

Success Magazine

The Lundquist College of Business continues to be recognized as one of the top centers for entrepreneurship by SUCCESS magazine. Since 1995 we have been named one of the top 40 schools for innovative entrepreneurship. This ranking has been maintained in an environment of exploding growth of entrepreneurship education. In a tribute to the LCE's mission, our New Venture Championship has been identified as one of the top three external business plan competitions in the nation.
